Do you accept clients with Medical Marijuana cards?
Yes, with proof from your doctor, and it cannot be used on-site or in our housing.
Can I have my phone?
Clients are allowed to have their phones but are not allowed to use them during treatment hours for privacy reasons.
Do you have a step-down program?
Clients from our IOP often step-down to a lower level of care with us.
Can I smoke cigarettes?
Yes, clients may smoke cigarettes in designated areas only.
Do you allow Suboxone or Methadone?
Yes. It is allowed and clients must have a lockbox for their medication if living in our housing. We do not provide medication management.
Are there any restrictions on other medications?
Generally, we will accept clients with the medications they have been prescribed but there are exceptions.
Assessments
Do you provide Comprehensive Assessments?
Yes. We are not providing virtual assessments or treatment at this time.
How do I get a substance use assessment?
Feel free to call our main number at 651-702-2700 and speak with someone to set up an appointment. Or you can request an appointment via email.
How long is my assessment good for?
Your assessment is good for 45 days.
Exception: If you were in custody and remained in custody for 45 days after our assessment, it would still be valid.
Housing & Transportation
Do you provide housing?
Housing is available for clients in our high intensity programming as long as the client attends and remains in treatment.
Do I have to pay rent for the high intensity program housing?
There are no deposits or rental charges to the client. Parity Wellness covers the cost of housing as long as the client remains in treatment.
Is transportation provided?
Non-emergency medical cab rides are coordinated through our Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
If you need a medical transport to and from treatment, this service is provided through your medical insurance.
Insurance
What types of insurance do you accept?
We are in-network with UCare, HealthPartners, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN, Hennepin Health, South Country Health Alliance, Direct Access, Medical Assistance and UnitedHealthcare (UBH/Medica).
Who covers medical cab expenses?
If you need a medical cab to transport you to and from treatment, we can arrange for this; however, medical transportation is a service provided through your insurance company.
